Thousands of cybersecurity enthusiasts recently gathered at the Metopolitan Pavilion in Chelsea for Cybertech NYC, which describes itself as ‘The Main Forum for Technology Leaders and Investors in Cybersecurity & AI’. In attendance were security executives, military officers, academics, as well as representatives from both the private sector and various governments.

Attendees were able to participate in panels, talks, and presentations from a dynamic line up of subject matter experts who covered relevant topics including the threat of misinformation, disinformation, and other digital concerns in the era of Artifical Intelligence (AI). Additional focal points of discussion included identifying the best ways to cultivate talent and investing in emerging cybersecurity startups. The event was made possible by the New York City Economic Development Corporation, and was sponsored by a variety of organizations including AWS, Nvidia, ISACA, Dell, and National Cybersecurity Alliance.
